Bethesda’s recently announcement Fallout 76 has managed to capture the entire gaming community’s interest with leaks claiming it to be a co-op game with improved base building elements from Fallout 4.
Fans around the world are going crazy for more details and it seems that they won’t have to wait more than a month after E3. Amazon put up a listing for Fallout 76 for 31st July which was quickly replaced with a 31st December 2018 date.
This wouldn’t be the first time retailers leaked vital information, Walmart pretty much leaked the entire E3 lineup last month and Amazon leaked the Spyro trilogy remaster back in April.
Bethesda is known for short release windows, but a next month release window would be a first time for them.
Fallout 76 is shaping up to be quite the game, with better radiant quests, base building features and the hotly anticipated multiplayer features. Fallout and Elder Scroll single player titles have gotten multiplayer treatment before from fan made mods and while Zenimax Online has released a MMO based on the Elder Scrolls universe before, this will be the first time Bethesda has officially made a multiplayer Fallout game.
“When the fighting is stopped, and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild. In Vault 76, our future begins”
The titular Vault 76 has been mentioned in previous Fallout games. It housed 500 occupants and was programmed to open to the wasteland outside 20 years after a nuclear war, way before the post apocalyptic civilization we saw in previous titles was built.
The Bethesda E3 2018 conference will take place on Monday, June 11 from 7 AM for Indian viewers.
