On the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Square Enix shows off some exclusive gameplay for their highly anticipated Marvel’s Avengers game. Although the full gameplay will officially be released at Gamescom 2019 next month, parts of the Comic-Con footage have been leaked online.

Two separate footages were leaked, both showing Thor fighting some enemies with his mythical hammer, Mjolnir, and thereby giving us an insight on how the final gameplay might look like.

In the first leaked footage of Marvel’s Avengers, Thor is seen knocking down some armed guards.

A second video, of a larger length, was also leaked, and we get a glance at Thor beating up the bad guys alongside Iron Man and Hulk

In the clips, our heroes are seen fighting the enemies on the Golden Gate Bridge which seems to be of the same action sequence as the one that appeared in the E3 trailer. Thor pulled off a set of combos in the clips, of which had a similarity to Devil May Cry style aerial juggles.

Overall, whatever we could assemble from the footages, are pretty good and immensely satisfying. Marvel’s Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 15, 2020, and we hope the game lives up to our expectations.
