In case you didn’t know, the upcoming Borderlands 3 is an Epic Store exclusive and when the news broke out, a lot of people weren’t happy because the Epic store still lacks a lot of basic features that are available today at most platforms. It only recently added features like Cloud Save Support (But only for two games), something that is seen as a staple today in the industry.
Preloading is one of those features that is missing in the Epic Store but is something that is supposed to come out in the future. A recent tweet by Tim Sweeney, while he was replying to a query by a gamer, however revealed that Preloading on Epic Store won’t be a thing by the time Borderlands 3 comes out.
I’m sorry, we won’t have support for preloading in the Borderlands release timeframe.— Tim Sweeney (@TimSweeneyEpic) August 12, 2019
Borderlands 3 is available on the Epic Store for $44.99. It is also available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One and is coming out on 13th September, 2019.
