What is E3?

E3 is the year’s most anticipated gaming show where new games and hardware are announced. While we don’t expect any new hardware announcements this year, there are a plethora of new games that are going to be revealed this year at E3.

EA: Saturday, June 9, 2018, 11:30 PM

What’s been confirmed: Battlefield V, Anthem, FIFA 19, Madden 19

What else to expect: EA might have a few other unannounced games although they will probably additions to their indie catalog.

Microsoft: Monday, June 11, 2018, 1:30 AM

What’s been confirmed: Crackdown 3

What else to expect: A new Forza Horizon game and Halo 6 are also expected to be revealed.

Bethesda: Monday, June 11, 2018, 7:00 AM

What’s been confirmed: Fallout 76, Rage 2.

What else to expect: A new Elder Scrolls Game is a long time coming along and we might get more information about the mysterious Starfield title which was doing the rounds in the rumor mill during last years E3. Or it could have been a code word for Fallout 76, we will know soon enough.

Square-Enix: Monday June 11 2018 10:30PM

What’s been confirmed: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Avengers tie up, Final Fantasy 7 remake, Kingdom Hearts III.

What else to expect: With their vast portfolio of games it’s hard to predict what else Square Enix might have up their sleeves. We might get more Final Fantasy XV DLC or a new expansion pack for Final Fantasy XIV. Information about Life is Strange 2 might also be revealed.

Ubisoft: Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 1:30 AM

What’s been confirmed: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Skull and Bones.

What else to expect: A new Splinter Cell game has been rumored to be in the works.

PC Gamer Show: Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 3:30 AM

The PC Gamer Show will mostly be about newly announced titles being showcased in all their 4k 120 FPS Ultra glory. Don’t expect any new announcements.

Sony: Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 6:30 AM

What’s been confirmed: Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us II, Spiderman, Death Stranding, Days Gone, Dreams.

What else to expect: Devil May Cry 5 is pretty much expected to be revealed at the Sony E3 conference this time with all those leaks, we wouldn’t rule out an expansion pack for God of War similar to Frozen Wilds for Horizon Zero Dawn out either.

Remember the PS4 exclusive WiLD that was showcased a couple of years back? I do and I hope Sony does too.

Nintendo Video Presentation: Tuesday June 12 2018 9:30PM

What’s been confirmed: Super Smash Bros, Metroid Prime 4, Octopath Traveller, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee.

What else to expect: Nintendo surprised us all with some massive announcements and we expect this year to be no different. Expect lots of new Switch exclusives, a new core Pokemon Game and more 3rd party support like Fortnite for Switch.

Other expected E3 reveals

CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty much on everyone’s wish list and we might finally get a glimpse into the Polish developers hotly anticipated cyberpunk RPG.

Resident Evil 2 Remake has been teased by Capcom for quite a while now and is expected to be revealed this year.

Fumito Ueda the mastermind behind Ico, Shadow of The Colossus and The Last Guardian has teased another project with a giant creature near a girl. We might get more information at E3.
