The Xbox One S is the newest member of the Xbox family and it’s slimmer, sleeker and more powerful than its predecessor, the Xbox One which was originally issued in 2013. This new version is 40% slimmer, has an integrated power brick, 4K Blu-ray player and support for HDR.
This console released today, the 2nd of August but it is really difficult to find one in online stores since according to reports, the new systems has sold out.
Aaron Greenberg, head of Xbox game marketing, tweeted about the status of the sales.
GAME and Amazon UK’s stock are sold out and no new info regarding future stocks is available. With the new console, a new update has also been released.
“The latest system update for Xbox One and the Xbox app starts rolling out today, continuing our commitment to give gamers more choice in how and where they play,” reads a message from Mike Ybarra, Head of Platform Engineering at Xbox.
“Cortana is now on Xbox One, Background Music will be available through music apps like Pandora, we’re bringing the most played PC games to Xbox Live with their own Game Hubs and we’re starting to combine the best of the Xbox Store and Windows Store for a single cohesive experience across devices.”
Looks like the Xbox One S might just be the boost the Xbox needs.
