Nvidia kickstarted its GeForce GTX 10 series Graphics cards, powered by the new Pascal architecture , with the GeForce GTX 1080, then followed by the 1070, having 8 GB GDDR5X and 8 GB GDDR5 video memories respectively. These two cards come with a high price tag, along with their performance, making it harder for the masses to afford. Nvidia aims to solve this by announcing the next member of the Pascal family, the $250 GTX 1060, with 6 GB GDDR5 video memory, to deliver Pascal experience at affordable price.
The GTX 1060Founders Edition, straight from NVIDIA is set to hit shelves worldwide on 19th July. Zotac has announced two variants of the card, the Mini variant is priced at ₹22999, and the AMP edition is priced at ₹24999.
The performance and Benchmarks of the new GTX 1060 is yet to be announced officially, but the benchmarks are leaked on Videocardz.
