This past week Battlefield 1 was revealed with an official trailer and the trailer has gone viral on YouTube. Battlefield 1 has already crossed 1 million likes on YouTube, 1,208,773 people have already pressed the like button and still counting, which makes it the most liked trailer of all times. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was announced a week prior, things didn’t work out perfectly for them though. The Sci-fi shooter has already crossed 1 million dislikes, which makes it the most disliked trailer of recent times. Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare’s trailer also became the fifth most hated youtube video of all time.
Youtubers are not the only people to praise Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare developer Infinity Ward posted to its Facebook page, saying “It’s a great reveal trailer. Kudos to the DICE team.” Additionally, Infinity Ward’s director of communications, Eric Monacelli, tweeted congratulations to DICE and said, “Great song choice, looks superb with interesting mechanics teased.”
While the trailers paint a good picture for only one of the games, only time will tell the quality of the actual products, will Battlefield 1 live upto the hype?
